New Kids Sports Franchise Launches in Windsor

Local Coach Beanie Khan Brings Top-Tier Football Sessions to Windsor’s Community

Families in Windsor now have a fantastic new opportunity to get their children active, learning, and having fun on the weekends. With over 15 years of experience coaching kids, Coach Mubeen (Beanie) Khan is launching his DMG Sports Academy franchise at Trevelyan Middle School in Windsor this November. Offering toddler and kids football classes, Beanie’s programmes aim to build confidence, skills, and friendships while fostering a love of sport from a young age.

Beanie’s passion for developing young talent and creating strong community bonds is at the heart of his coaching philosophy. Having spent more than a decade working with children across schools, nurseries, and community programmes, he has honed his approach to coaching kids of all ages—from toddlers taking their first steps into the world of sport to older children looking to develop their footballing skills.

“Football is more than just a game to me,” says Beanie. “It’s a way to teach teamwork, build confidence, and give children tools they can use for life. Through my DMG Sports Academy franchise, I’m excited to bring that vision to Windsor, giving kids an opportunity to grow in both sport and life.”

A Personal Mission: Building a Legacy for Family and Future

While Beanie has a successful career as an IT Consultant, his true passion lies in coaching children and building a lasting impact on his community. “I wanted to create something special for my family,” Beanie shares. “With my experience in IT, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset, and I saw the potential to combine that with my love for coaching. This franchise isn’t just about business for me—it's about building a legacy for my children, so they can grow up seeing the positive impact sport can have on their lives and the lives of others.”

By launching his DMG Sports Academy, Beanie is creating something that not only benefits the kids in Windsor but also ensures he’s there for his family. “The beauty of this business is that it gives me the flexibility to balance my professional career and my passion for coaching, while still having quality time with my family,” he explains. “It’s about creating something meaningful, both for my kids and for the Windsor community.”

New Venue at Trevelyan Middle School, Windsor

The brand-new football classes will be held at Trevelyan Middle School in Windsor, starting in November. Beanie will be offering a range of football sessions for different age groups, so there’s something for everyone in the family. The weekend sessions will be as follows:

Each session is designed with a focus on the developmental stage of the children. Beanie and his team will ensure the classes are fun, engaging, and tailored to help each child grow their skills, confidence, and passion for football.

“We’ve worked hard to make sure these sessions are inclusive and developmentally appropriate,” Beanie explains. “From toddlers learning basic coordination to the older kids practising their skills in small games, we keep the joy of football at the heart of everything we do.”

Families are welcome to book a free trial class to experience the sessions before committing. Beanie wants parents to feel confident that the sessions are the right fit for their child and family.

Why DMG Sports Academy?

Beanie’s decision to partner with DMG Sports Academy was an easy one. “I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the DMG proposition,” he says. “The brand is built on strong principles of child development, psychology-led teaching, and inclusivity. Dr. Mark Gould, who I’ve known for many years, has been instrumental in creating a programme that is truly special. The support and resources they provide are second to none, and I feel confident in delivering the best possible football experiences to the kids in Windsor.”

The DMG Sports Academy model has been designed around evidence-based teaching methods and a deep understanding of child development. The result is a franchise that is focused on more than just teaching football—it’s about creating well-rounded individuals who will grow in confidence, coordination, and social skills.

“Our philosophy is centred around making sure every child, no matter their ability or experience, feels welcome,” Beanie continues. “DMG provides us with the tools and training to create an environment where every child has the chance to thrive.”

Football as a Tool for Growth

For Beanie and his coaching team, football is a tool for more than just physical fitness. It’s a way to help children grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively. In the Toddler Football Classes, children will explore movement, coordination, and curiosity alongside their parents, setting the foundation for future learning. As kids progress to the Ballers and Shooters classes, they will begin working on skills like ball control, balance, and teamwork—while engaging in fun, small-sided games that foster decision-making.

“Watching children grow in confidence is the most rewarding part of this job,” says one of Beanie’s coaches. “I’ve seen toddlers go from being a little shy to running around the field with a big smile, and I’ve watched older kids start to show real leadership on the pitch. It’s amazing to see.”

Building a Legacy Through Football

For Beanie, this is more than just about coaching football—it’s about creating a lasting legacy for both his family and the Windsor community. “I’m a firm believer that sport brings people together,” Beanie says. “By running these classes, I’m not only helping kids develop skills on the pitch, but also giving them a chance to build lasting friendships and a sense of belonging.”

As a father himself, Beanie is passionate about creating a business that reflects his values and allows him to spend quality time with his family. “Being able to combine my passion for football with my love for community is something I’m really proud of,” he adds. “This franchise is about giving back to Windsor, and making sure that every child who steps onto the pitch leaves with a smile.”

A Franchise Opportunity with a Difference

The DMG Sports Academy franchise model offers a unique opportunity for people who want to combine their passion for coaching with the chance to run their own business. With the support of a trusted national brand, franchisees like Beanie are equipped with the tools, training, and curriculum to run high-quality sports programmes for children.

“I’m really excited about the future,” Beanie says. “I can’t wait to see the kids grow, learn, and develop over the next few months. I’m also looking forward to getting to know the local community and building lasting relationships with families in Windsor.”

Looking to the Future

Beanie’s long-term vision for the DMG Sports Academy in Windsor includes expanding his offerings to holiday camps and after-school clubs, as well as hosting community football festivals. His main goal, however, will always remain: to deliver fun, inclusive, and development-focused football sessions that benefit both the children and their families.

“My goal is to create a space where kids feel safe, have fun, and make memories,” Beanie says. “Football can be a lifelong love, and I want to help these kids find that love early on.”
